We are looking for a new team member for our division International Cooperation
in Hamburg as soon as possible 

Specialist Commercial Contract Management (d/f/m)

- limited for 2 years / full-time (39 hours per week) -

Your tasks:

  • Lead bid management and project implementation with bilateral and multilateral donors in the area of Commercial Contracts, including analysis of income development within the Commercial Contracts business area
  • Select, conceptualise and plan Commercial Contracts projects including consortium setups, in coordination with Plan country offices and partners
  • Negotiate and coordinate with relevant stakeholders such as donors, national and international Plan organisations, and external partners on Commercial Contract bids
  • Represent Plan International Germany in relevant Global Account Management groups
  • Develop donor-specific guidelines for Commercial Contracts and provide support and technical guidance to Plan country offices during project start-up and implementation, including training

Your profile:

  • Successfully completed degree (ideally Master's or equivalent), preferably with a focus on economics, Commercial Contracts and/or Innovative Finance
  • At least 3–5 years of relevant professional experience in development cooperation or humanitarian assistance, ideally including at least two years working abroad
  • Experience in Commercial Contracts and/or project financing in the area of Innovative Finance, as well as general experience in fundraising with public donors (GIZ, KfW, EU, World Bank)
  • Strong knowledge of the national and international Commercial Contracts donor landscape and understanding of relevant financing instruments
  • Experience in designing complex projects and solid knowledge of project cycle management including M&E, compliance and stakeholder management
  • Very good German and English language skills, both written and spoken; additional language skills, particularly French and/or Spanish, are an advantage
  • Strong organisational, communication and coordination skills, as well as intercultural competence and the ability to work effectively in a team
